EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITIES
Land Records Management & Information Systems is a major project of the Government of Punjab being executed by the World Bank with financial assistant of the World Bank. Application from Punjab domiciles candidates are invited for appointment on contract basis against the following posts in the project:

1-Procurement Specialist
Requirements: BSc Engineering (Civil) at least 2nd division from recognized institution registered with HEC. 10 years experience in procurement planning, implementation and monitoring in different projects. Candidates having conducted procurement using International Development Association (IDA) guidelines will be preferred.

2- GIS Specialist
Requirements: Bachelor (4 years) or Masters in IT/ Computer Sciences/ GIS at least 2nd division from recognized institution registered with HEC. Must have at least 2 years post-qualification experience in enterprises level GIS application development using technologies such as ESRI, AreGIS, AutoCAD, REST, Java Script, AJMAX and .NET Technologies. The candidates must have a good understanding of spatial features of RDBM such as Postage SQL/Post GRC, SQL Server etc.

Applications accompanied by CV, one passport size photograph, attested copies of educational certificates, experience certificates, CNIC and Domicile should reach the undersigned during office hours by 24.10.2015. Appointments will be subject to terms and conditions as determined by the Government of the Punjab. Public sector employees may also apply with the permission of respective Head of the Departments. Only short listed candidates will be called for the test/ interview and no TA/ DA shall be admissible for the purpose. Envelops must be clearly marked with the post applied for. The selected candidates will be on probation for 90 days. The following quotas shall be continue to be observed for the above mentioned post on contract basis. 3% quota for disabled persons. 5% quota for minorities. 15% quota for women. 20% quota for the children of serving/ retired government servants in BS-1 to BS-5 from respective departments. Disabled candidates will have to submit a certificate from physical council for re-habilitation of disable person of social welfare department.
