Keeping in view the need of market oriented programs in Gujarat and its surrounding areas, which consist of industrial triangle comprising Gujranwala, Sialkot and Gujrat, the management of The University of Lahore decided to establish its campus at Gujarat with the state of the art infrastructure and facilities will not only fulfills the need of the local community, but also of the people living in the adjacent Districts, i.e Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Gujranwala, Sialkot, Jhelum and Bhimber (AJK). The establishment of this campus will provide the great opportunity to the children of the Pakistani’s living abroad which belongs to this region in great number.
The University of Lahore is a prime private sector charted university established in Lahore with its sub campuses at Lahore, Islamabad, Sargodha and Gujrat to provide quality education in diversified fields and market oriented disciplines. The University has been ranked amongst the top 550-600 University of the world. The Ranking has been published in QS Times Higher Education Supplement. The Higher Education Commission of Pakistan has also elevated, The University of Lahore in its Highest Category of W4.
It is highly appreciated that the administration of The University of Lahore has made special arrangements to hire highly qualified and experienced teaching faculty for Chenab Campus, Gujrat. The Community Living in the Gujrat and its surrounding areas will definitely get quality education at an affordable cost and that too in their hometown.
We will maintain a high standard of education like Lahore, Islamabad and Sargodha campuses. The University of Lahore has always been at the forefront of innovation and has played a proactive role in shaping and accelerating the modern day Higher Education scene in Pakistan. The management of The University of Lahore decided to establish its campus at Gujrat with the state of the art infrastructure and amenities to fulfill the necessity of the local community keeping in view the need of market oriented programs in industrial triangle comprising districts of Gujranwala, Sialkot & Gujrat, and also to the peoples living in the adjacent districts, i.e Mandi Bahauddin, Hafizabad, Jhelum and Bhimber (AJK). The Chenab Campus, Gujrat has spread in its educational fields & now provides wide variety of curricula including Engineering & Technology, Management Sciences, Computer Sciences, Doctor of Physiotherapy, Commerce & English Language & Literature. The establishment of Chenab Campus will provide a great opportunity to children of the Pakistani’s living abroad who belong to this region in great number.
The campus is situated adjacent Chenab Bridge, G. T. Road is spread over 4 acres piece of land with over 70,000 square feet built up area. The facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, computer labs, library, cafeteria, mosque, playgrounds, and faculty offices all have been centered in Chenab Campus, Gujrat. The University Management ensures the availability of these facilities to students, Faculty & Staff.
